Pls sir I am an intermediate player I have a problem in knowing a scale
To use in a particular genre of music, I know how to run most of this scale but if I want to apply it, it sound flat
I know how and when to use the minor and major Pentatonix and blue scale very well but other scale is the problem plz sir can I help me out

There’s not a lot to go on there so I’m not quite sure what you are asking. Can you give me more info, or better still some examples. Scales are just scales, they’re not necessarily tied to any particular genre and will depend also on the chord progression.
