Harmonic major

You can find it in the scale note finder but only for full fretboard diagrams, not individual patterns. https://www.guitar-chords.org.uk/chord-calc/scale-note-finder.php

Jam Tracks

Hi. Simple answer, I haven't updated everything yet. The recent ones are diagrams attached to jam tracks on Youtube. I'm yet to add the mp3's. This is a big project I've started so bear with me 🙂

Notation

TAB notation represents strings and fret numbers. The bottom line is the thick E string, the top line is the thin E string, the rest follow the standard string tuning. The numbers are the frets you play...

Hard to say. I just tried a print preview on a random page it looked OK. Can you link a page that you are having trouble with?

I'm not sure what that could be unless you have some blocker perhaps. If you email me with your email address I'll see if I can set it up manually.

Frank Gambale and pentatonic shapes and modes

Frank Gambale is an amazing guitarist so he makes anything sound good 🙂 Even if you find his ideas difficult to use, they're all worth learning and experimenting with. They open up the fretboard to new...

Frank Gambale and pentatonic shapes and modes

Ok, I found the book 🙂 I'll be honest, this stuff is not something I've spent much time messing around with. It either takes a lot of work to sound good or is, in my opinion, only suited to certain styles...

Frank Gambale and pentatonic shapes and modes

You could do the same in any of the diatonic keys but I'm not sure what help it would be with modal playing. I think I might have that book somewhere, I'll see if I can find it 🙂 If not, can you give...

Lessons overwhelmed with ads

There are definitely ads on the site. Maybe you are using a blocker? It's a hard balance getting it right so they aren't so annoying but I am working on it, just time consuming.

Trying to understand it all

Pentatonic scales

I assume you are talking about the amount of notes in one position. The notes are just repeated in different octaves. For example, the common box 1 pattern for A minor pentatonic has 12 notes but they...

Pentatonic scales

They don't. Each position will still have the same five notes so you have something confused. Can you give me an example?

Resolve

B#m7 is Cm7. If you were just using Cm7 and Dm7, my first thought would be try Bb major to resolve.

Mistake on p24 Guitar Theory book

I checked the page and can't see a problem. You can definitely play an F barre at the first fret so maybe I'm not quite getting your point. Can you give me more detail?

Books on chord progressions for songwriting

I'm afraid I can't, I've never read or owned any. I would recommend the Idiots Guide to Composition by Michael Miller, if it's still available, although it does go quite deep so might be more involved...
