Minor soloing

Example : I’m about to solo jam on a backing track in the key of A minor and the chord sequence is Am. Dm. Em.

Can I solo over the Dm throughout the jam or do I have to solo over the 1 chord A minor ?

This is just a i-iv-v in A minor. You could just solo over the whole thing (all of the chords) using the A natural minor scale. You could also use A minor pentatonic over the whole thing.
