Natural Minor vs Minor Pentatonic

Lee,

I was wondering if I could focus on the in’s and out’s of the natural minor scale instead of the minor pentatonic and use the natural minor in the place of the pentatonic for my soloing and improvising?

You should be able to use the natural minor over most minor progressions instead of minor pentatonic. Best thing is to just use it more often and get used to it. You’ll get a sweeter melodic sound with the minor scale.
