Thanks Lee for writing this. I am almost 60 and recently swapped from learning bass to learning acoustic. I am musically challenged and rhythm and strumming is my nemesis so it seems. This book is simple, no fuss, clear, and looks like it will help me quite a bit. I struggle between lessons (taken with my real life tutor). This book (and in particular the audio) is helping fill the gaps he doesn’t have time to cover.
Thanks for the kind words Andrew. Glad to hear it’s helping. I think a lot of amateurs struggle with some of this stuff, not because it’s necessarily difficult, but tends to go unrealised.
I have a part 2 coming, hopefully within a few weeks, which will focus on spicing up chord playing to add more variation and melody. Nothing too complicated but taking things up a notch.
